​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Cold Case Playing Cards highlight 52 violent unsolved homicide, missing person and unidentified person cases that have occurred throughout Minnesota in the past 50+ years.

Decks were sent to all 515 Minnesota police departments and sheriff offices, plus 75 county jail and annex facilities. In addition, over 10,000 decks have been supplied to Minnesota state prison inmates. The goal is to gain information and tips to help solve Minnesota's cold cases.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension developed the Cold Case Playing Cards in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Corrections, local law enforcement agencies, and the families of the victims represented on these cards.
